DATA ENGINEER CONSULTANT

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an individual contributor, you will not only be responsible for delivering your own high-quality work but also play a crucial role as a technical lead within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise and Leadership: Take charge of hands-on delivery of medium to complex data solutions. Demonstrate technical leadership and provide mentorship to a team of talented data engineers. Problem-Solving and Guidance: Lead team members through technical challenges, ensuring effective problem-solving approaches. Best Practices and Standards: Uphold and advocate for best practices in data engineering and architecture, ensuring high standards are consistently met. Ownership and Initiative: Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, taking projects from inception to completion with a focus on creating finished, high-quality products/solutions. Collaboration and Improvement: Work collaboratively with the extended team, confidently suggesting and implementing improvements to enhance the quality of delivery.

Qualifications: Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding and working experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Dataflow, Apache Spark, Airflow, DBT, etc. Programming Proficiency: Strong skills in programming languages, particularly Python and Java. Data Pipeline Expertise: Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable data pipelines. Platform Experience: Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform’s analytical stack.
